hot coffee in the morning wakes themi had some today
but it wasn't morning anymore
and i should have been awaken much earlier
some say i will sleep through my whole life
i say life is better at night

I agree totally! The only times in my life when I can say that I'm truly happy are when I'm asleep.
I need gallons of coffee to keep me awake during the day...

thank you, though i'm not sure if it can be called poetry. it's a big word, and probably some of our teachers, and not only them, would be terrified seeing that. but still, i've always loved writing.
